電影短評: 我的名字叫可汗 (My name is Khan)

又一部印度電影成為其中一部我最喜歡的電影. 與較早前我看過的另外兩部印度電影(3 idiots, Slum dog Millionaire) 不同, 這部電影的荷理活色彩很重. 如果不是片中的對白都是hindi和重印度口音的英文, 看上去還真以為是一部荷理活電影.


Rizvan Khan是一位自閉症患者,但是從小單純, 善良, 誠實. 1983年,印度教徒與穆斯林教徒發生衝突,就是那時候,Khan的母親告訴他:"這世界上只有兩種人之分,好人做好事,壞人做壞事;沒有宗教和種族之分." 母親過世之後, Khan移民到美國. 他用努力和善良彌補自己先天的不足, 終於在事業上小有成就, 也和一位已有兒子的婦人組成家庭. 在911悲劇發生後, 因為穆斯林姓氏” Khan”, 讓這個家庭面臨沉重的打擊, 讓他們從此背上了恐怖分子的罪名, Khan的繼子也在一場種族衝突中被人殺害. Khan的妻子十分傷心, 對Khan說出氣話. “除非你可以在美國總統面前, 說出”我的名字是叫可汗, 而我並不是恐怖份子”, 你才可以回來.”


為了替自己正名, Khan開始了一段關於救贖的漫長旅途.
